Skis, boots and luggage

Whether everything fits depends mainly on ski bags, snowboard bags and suitcases, so we do not quote a fixed number per vehicle. Tell us what you are bringing when you book; we confirm that your vehicle has room or suggest a larger one. Renting skis in the resort means lighter luggage.

Train or door-to-door transfer?

Rail works too, often with a change: for Kitzbühel, Kitzbühel Tourism describes S-Bahn or Railjet from Vienna Airport to Vienna Main Station, then a train towards Innsbruck, changing at Wörgl.

By train: fixed timetable, changes with skis and suitcases, and the last stretch to your accommodation is up to you; fine for a solo traveller with light luggage.
With a chauffeur: leave when it suits you, load once, get out at or near your accommodation; priced per vehicle, so it adds up best for families and groups.

Race days 2027: Hahnenkamm and The Nightrace

Hahnenkamm races, Kitzbühel: World Cup races 22 to 24 January 2027, race week from 18 January (kitzbuehel.com).
The Nightrace, Schladming: giant slalom on 26 January, slalom on 27 January 2027 (thenightrace.at).

For race days, book early, especially a Sprinter or Coach. Drop-off points are set by organisers and authorities; your chauffeur lets you out as close as permitted. For a same-day return, please send a request so we can plan legal driving and rest times.

Frequently asked questions

Can we reach our resort on the day we land?

Yes, but check the clock: from the airport it is about three and a half hours to Schladming and over six to St. Anton, Ischgl, Sölden or Lech, plus a break. After a late landing, a night in Vienna and a morning start from your Vienna address at the table price may suit you better.

Can you also drive us back at the end of the week?

Yes, as a separate ride from your accommodation: to a Vienna address at the table price, to the airport at the price the calculator shows.

Do we stop for a break on the way?

Beyond about four and a half hours, yes: always to Kaprun, Sölden, Ischgl and the Arlberg; to Zell am See and Kitzbühel depending on your starting point, traffic and weather.

Do you have child seats?

Tell us the age and number of children, ideally on WhatsApp before you book, and we will tell you whether and which child seats we can provide.

What happens if a road is closed or it snows heavily?

Safety comes first: closures and heavy snow apply to your chauffeur too. If your pick-up has to be rescheduled, we will contact you; on fresh-snow days allow extra time and give us a mobile number.

Do I pay in advance?

Yes, you pay online when you book. For several vehicles or a company trip, send a request and we will reply with a quote.
